We have found that
a Zen style garden works well in London; it offers peace
and tranquillity in any size of space and allows clients
to experience the balance and harmony of nature even in the

At Glenstone we have developed our own unique expression
of Zen which harnesses the Zen system of planting in
combination with a low maintenance approach. In
keeping with our philosophy of reconnecting to the earth,
we use natural materials wherever possible to create
beauty as well as function.

is a spreading, bushy evergreen
shrub growing up to 3m, with glossy ovate leaves
and terminal clusters of fragrant salver-shaped flowers
4-5cm across, opening purple and fading to near white. |

is a deciduous or partially
evergreen, medium-sized shrub growing up to 2m, with
tapering, narrowly ovate leaves, and pendulous, bell-shaped
flowers with yellow petals and a large crimson calyx
in summer and autumn. |

is a clump-forming deciduous
perennial grass with flat, arching leaves to 90cm in
length, and bronze flowering panicles that fade to pale
